This page sets out how to think about time and money before following any link on this site, and what happens once a link is followed. It also states plainly what this site can and cannot do, so nothing is assumed.
Before You Click
The decisions that matter most happen before money is involved. A short list of practical habits, and the reasoning behind each one:
- Decide the amount before starting. A figure set in advance, away from the moment of play, is a decision made with a clear head rather than one shaped by how the session is going.
- Treat that amount as already spent. Thinking of it as a fixed cost for entertainment, not as money that should come back, removes the pressure to make it reappear.
- Never chase a loss. Increasing a stake to recover what has gone is a decision made under pressure, and pressure is a poor basis for judging odds.
- Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Money that is owed elsewhere carries a second obligation that has nothing to do with the outcome of any bet.
- Take breaks. Stepping away resets attention and makes it easier to notice how much time or money has actually gone by.
- Involve someone else early. A conversation before the point where gambling stops being entertainment is far more useful than one after.
Where the Independent Help Links Are
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations: gambleaware.nsw.gov.au, gamblinghelponline.org.au and responsiblegambling.vic.gov.au. These are the only outbound links on the site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking, are set to nofollow, and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows one of them.
The eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. Each of the ten operator listings closes with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.
What Happens After You Leave
Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site. Each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point on, the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply — not anything published here.
- No account-level controls exist here. Deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion all belong to an operator account. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published on this site can switch one of these on, check one, or enforce one.
- No age is verified here. Nobody's age is checked on this site, and no gambling takes place on it. Any age check happens at the destination, after a link is followed.
